Pros: easy to set up
not very expencive
Cons: - has to constantly be power cycled to allow network access
- will only accept network password maybe 15% of the time
- Factory SSID wont support https so you HAVE to set your network passwords using an insecure connection

Other Thoughts: When this product is working, its great. Unfortunately mine will not allow me to connect to the 2.4ghz band about 85% of the time. Upgrading firmware improved performance for a few days before reverting back to not accepting the password. I work in IT support and would not recommend buying this product.
Pros: This was the simplest setup yet, and the extender works flawlessly, Great little piece of wireless networking.
Cons: Must be careful not to press buttons on side when removing from wall, other then that no problems
Other Thoughts: Highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to extend there wireless range for there network.
Pros: easy to install, moved to upstairs and reset entertainment system to receive full signal, all bars instead of only 3. Picked up dual signal now receiving 5G very well..
Cons: none at this time
Pros: In extended mode it's cover entire large area like 3 family house and small garden.Great!!Ez to setup, too!!
Cons: Well!!This is not a repeater.Mean anything you connect to main router will not gonna be on its(network printers, media server..etc..)So don't be confuse between those two. This is just a range extender. But you can configure repeater in AP mode with Cat cable connect to Ethernet port(But!!What is the point of having this?)
Other Thoughts: If you are looking for dualband wireless repeater look some where else.It is not here.
Pros: could not get it working, had tech from netgear helping, nothing...had the motorola and timewarner techs at it...it just not work for me.
I have many netgear items and they are all very dependable. Just this one can not get it to work
Cons: did not work
We thank you for being a loyal NETGEAR customer and want nothing more than for you to be completely satisfied. You can email us whenever you have trouble with any of our product. Right now you can email us at [email protected] with the serial number of your EX6100 and a description what what is happening.
Our sincere apologies for the issues with the extender.

NETGEAR Team
Pros: Good performance and I rarely need to reboot it.
Cons: I own two of these, and putting both on the same network required gymnastics. I could not use their express setup. You either need a lot of space on a power-strip or consume an entire wall outlet because of the physical design.
Other Thoughts: I live in an older home and running CAT5 wire between rooms is not an option. These solve the problem by allowing multiple wired devices in a room when combined with a cheap switch. I do not like these devices expose an additional SSID.

Pros: After using a TP-Link extender with internal antennas, I was hesitant to test another extender. However, this device performed much better and had other great features as well.
The external directional antennas are a great touch.
Setup can be done multiple ways.
Extended range much farther than others.
Supported both 5GHz and 2.4GHz.
Easy to place out of the way and still have great range boosting.
Cons: None, maybe a little pricier than other options.
Other Thoughts: This is a great device for extending your router's range.

Pros: Ethernet Port, helpful for those devices far away that just don't make sense running a long cable to.
Easy access switch on it's side for changing between extender and access point.
Decent connectivity.
Easy to setup.
Cons: It's a tad heavy, so if it doesn't fit snug in the outlet it's likely to slowly wiggle free. Shouldn't affect too many people though.
The antennas are helpful, however since they can't be removed, it limits the placement of the device, since it's already a bit large. Luckily the prongs are near top and don't interfere with using the top outlet like some other extenders.
Other Thoughts: I'm satisfied with it. It fulfills all it's purposes admirably for the sale price it's currently at. Regular price it's probably a 4 or 4.5 out of 5.
